| About CHiMERiC |
chi·mer·ic
adj.
CHiMERiC was conceived by Neural9 back in 1998, coinciding with the launch of Unreal. I (crack_addict/ca) inherited the site from it's original creator around July/August of the same year, and have been managing it ever since. From the start CHiMERiC has been the premier Unrealscript Coding resource site for the Unreal community, and has expanded and evolved over time with the release of Unreal Tournament. Recently, mr.self-destruct has come on board to help update and maintain the site, as well as continue contributing new content. Looking towards the future -
CHiMERiC plans to stick around, ever expanding as possible, and
hopefully embracing the launch of the next wave of Unreal titles (Unreal
2, Unreal Warfare, Unreal Championship). We will strive to always
be the top Unrealscript site anywhere, consistently bringing you new
content and being a welcome home to the Unrealscript community in
particular.

Ray Davis, programmer. I've been
programming for Unreal specifically since it came back way back when,
and learning to program in everything else since I was a little guy.
I've been maintaining this site for a couple years now, suffered through
it's one major re-design, written a bunch of tutorials for unrealscript,
etc. Basically if you love the site or just plain hate it, you have me
to blame. :-) I'm currently employed by Digitalo Studios, working on a top-secret project (which isn't incredibly secret anymore), and I've also done contract work for Perilith's Unrealty, as well as worked on a few modifications here and there. |

Joined CHiMERiC in the summer of 2001, having
previously written a number of tutorials for CHiMERiC and worked on a few mods
(most if not all of you've probably never heard of).
I'm currently studying for a BSc Computer Science at the University of Brighton (UK).
